Getting Vulnerable

While I’ve had multiple websites and managed more social media accounts than I can list, I must confess this is my first official blog. I’ve long shied away from long-form content like this (along with video content) because I have never been comfortable being out in front of my own brand. I previously made a decades-long career out of being a spokesperson for other brands. Despite being an entrepreneur exclusively for a decade, I’ve never felt safe being this transparent. But “vulnerable” was a huge focus for me in 2022 so here I am. While I may collaborate with other businesses and contractors to get shit done, every project starts and ends with my vision.

I plan to share details and images here that I don’t cover fully in social media posts. This will serve as a behind-the-scenes look into key projects as well as a place I may share lessons, inspiration, or resources. If you’re already familiar with me, you know I specialize in repurposing, upcycling, thrifting, and crafting to give every space a unique and affordable new aesthetic. Shy as I may be, I intend to step out of my shell more here in order to share and inspire. I hope I succeed in being a resource to my beloved community of creative minds.
